HOW IT ALL STARTED.
Anna Bowman has been involved with Fair Trade as a Traidcraft fairtrader since 2005. This mainly involved supplying churches with goods on a "sale or return" basis. Over the years, schools in the area became involved, and Anna was asked to hold stalls at an increasing number of events such as coffee mornings, fetes and sales of work.
The support for Fair Trade in the area became clear, and the seeds for the need of a permanent retail outlet were sown. After a particularly successful coffee morning during Fair Trade fortnight in February 2009, the support given by the locals made Anna decide to seriously investigate the possibility of opening a shop.
An incredible 6 months later, on June 25th 2009, "All Things Fair" opened at 38 High Street, Blairgowrie, Perthshire.
